Life transition

The unknown and the unfamiliar feel less frightening when we have someone we trust by our side.

Change is a natural part of life, yet it can disrupt several areas of our lives at once.

Leaving the familiar behind and stepping into the unknown can feel frightening, especially when navigating a transition without support, whether the change is something we have chosen or something that has been imposed on us.

I offer coaching to help you explore your fears, identify solutions that fit your circumstances, and find ways to navigate your transition with greater confidence.

My goal is to support you in building a life that feels right for you, using change as a starting point for new possibilities.

Coaching

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and a Master’s degree in Social Work. I have over 13 years of professional experience supporting men as they reintegrate into society, as well as more than 5 years of private practice experience working with men and women navigating various life transitions, including:

  • Career transitions, sometimes involving a complete change from one professional field to another

  • Retirement, whether chosen or imposed, including retirement among military personnel

  • Relationship breakdowns, with or without intimate partner violence

  • The decision to end family ties, whether with a parent or an adult child

  • Grief and loss, including death, absence, and abandonment

  • The transition to parenthood

  • The transition from prison to life in the community

What I Offer You

  • A safe space where you can finally explore your fears, concerns, and excitement without judgment.

  • Guidance and support to explore and test different options, helping you navigate your transition in a way that aligns as closely as possible with your values.

  • My professional experience, with a career spanning from 2009 and private practice experience since 2021.

  • My academic background: a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology (2008) and a Master’s degree in Social Work (2019).

  • Theoretical and practical knowledge gained through hundreds of hours of additional professional training.

  • My personal and professional research and reading, which continuously inform my approach.

  • The tools I have learned and developed throughout my professional journey.

  • Hundreds of hours of hands-on experience in private practice and supporting marginalized individuals and those who have experienced emotional pain and found their way back to themselves.

  • A safe, inclusive, and anti-oppressive space where you can feel respected, heard, and supported.

All of this is offered with empathy and compassion, creating space for you to truly explore the aspects of your transition that are making the process difficult for you.
